Thank you for purchasing our theme. We're as excited as you are about the possibilities before you. Finally, its going to be far less complicated to make your Wordpress website pages look and feel the way you want them. We built this theme for everyone and its perfect for many different projects. Code is only poetry to people who know what it all means. To everyone else it is a strange and very foreign language. This is why we decided to use and include various features and optimised it with Wordpress Gutenberg Page Builder with the theme which makes it simple to include elements on your pages without any coding knowledge.
We hope this guide will explain how to do everything with the theme, but if you cannot locate the answer here, create a support ticket on our support hub. We do not answer support questions on Theme Forest neither via email.
Before you attempt to upload your theme you must unzip the downloaded folder. Why? The extra files it contains can cause strange issues to occur in your theme's functionality. Only upload the inner zip file (themename.zip) and only install your theme through the Wordpress admin installer located under "Appearance" "Themes" "Install". If this way to install the theme fails, we recommend to use FTP. Open your FTP client and move to your WordPress installation path. Drag & Drop the "theme" folder into the following path: wp-content/themes/ Now go to your Dashboard Appearance Theme and activate the theme.
You will now recognize a message appearing at the top of the dashboard, advising you to install some required and recommended plugins.
On screen instructions will guide you through the process. If it hangs or freezes please keep trying until the plugins have been installed.
Logo & Favicon
You can add your own logo and favicon by going to your dashboard and then choose appearance > customize. You will see a section called header, this is where you can add a logo by selecting an image.
You will also see there is a section called site identity where you can add a favicon.
The theme gives the option to have full width pages, pages with a left sidebar and pages with a right sidebar. You can select a default layout from the layout section of the customiser or you can select a layout for individual pages when editing a page.
There are also page templates for metro style blog pages, masonry style blog pages and portfolio style pages. You can see that option when editing a page, as shown below.
The theme will recommend a popular contact form plugin called Contact Form 7 which we recommend using for your contact page. Its very straight forward to use and automatically creates a simple contact form for you, you can however edit it to make it more advanced if you wish to. You can add a form to any page using the contact block provided by the recommended plugin called Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg, as shown below.
The theme will recommend a great wishlist plugin and it will create a wishlist icon in the side strip to the right of each page. To use this you must simply install the plugin and go through the plugins setup wizard. You will notice a wishlist icon on your products which will allow you to add them to a wishlist.
If you would prefer not to use the wishlist plugin you can deactivate it and the wishlist icon will automatically be removed.
Woo Quick View
The theme will recommend a great WooCommerce quick view plugin which will allow your visitors to see a popup quick view box of a product when they click on the quick view icon when hovering over a product. If you dont want to use this feature you can simply remove the plugin. The styling of the box is automatically taken care of by the theme.
The theme comes with a one click demo import feature which you can find in the appearance section of your dashboard. If you want to make your site look like our demo site then you can use this feature.
After the data has imported you will need to select a primary menu and select a homepage and blog page as shown in the images below. You will also need to import the demo sliders which can be found in a folder included in the theme download.
Sometimes server restrictions can block the import but please feel free to create a support ticket and we will be happy to help install it for you.
The theme uses Wordpress Gutenburg to make building pages very simple. We have included some custom gutenberg elements and recomended some great wordpress plugins to give you some great blocks to add around your site.
Cobbles feature : This is an awesome custom shortcode which lets you display your posts in a metro style. To use this you must add a Gutenburg shortcode and then add the following shortcode, changing the category and number of posts as you wish e.g [cobbles_posts items="9" cat="lookbook"] as shown in the image below.
It will give the following effect and you can change the grid item size when editing the individual post or page.
